13 Engineering Schools in France

In order to expand its economic and scientific activities, France will need more and more highly qualified engineers.To that end, the university-affiliated Polytech Engineering Schools have decided to go into partnership by creating the Polytech Network.


Its thirteen components are state-schools which altogether total:

  • 12 000 students out of whom 1000 have chosen the apprenticeship curriculum, and 2000 follow the PeIP path
  • 2 900 graduates per year
  • 48 000 engineers in active employment
  • 1 000 PhD’s
  • 5 scientific fields
  • 70 programs offered (basic education, apprenticeship, sandwich/continuing education)
