Recherche et innovation

The teachers and researchers of Polytech Lyon are members of 12 different Claude Bernard University laboratories whose main research areas are: health care, environment and materials.

The role of research is manifold:
  • It enriches the quality of the teaching
  • It contributes to the reputation of the school
  • It contributes to the training of PhD’s, very often supported by CIFRE scholarships( Convention Industrielle de Formation par la Recherche).

Polytech Lyon forme ses diplômés en forte interaction avec la recherche pour les sensibiliser à l'innovation technologique.

Polytech Lyon trains its graduates in a research environment which raises awareness of technological innovation. In all fields, our educational programs build on the research activities on campus. Students wishing to pursue scientific studies and careers may in 5th year enrol in a Master’s program and possibly in a Doctoral program.
